The Business Plan is a document prepared to present the company’s long-term vision for shareholders, potential lenders or investors as well. The document focuses the company’s potential to grow by launching new products, new businesses or expanding the current ones.
Reasons for a Business Plan (BP)
There are several reasons to prepare a Business Plan such as:
Communication Tool with Potential Investors
It is a document that conveys the Company’s ideas and plans to other people and serves as a discussion basis for raising funds;

The BP is an operating tool which, properly used, will serve as a management plan set to achieve success goals;
Critical Vision of the Business
The process of preparing a BP forces the Company staff to take an objective, critical and unemotional look at the business project in its entirety.
